As I mentioned previously, I found out in February that I was being "bumped" from my position by a more senior teacher. Well, it looks like that really worked out for the best, because last Friday I accepted a part time teaching job at the middle school in the same school district I was working in. I was offered a full time position, but E and I talked about it (and I talked to my mom and Heather) and decided that the part time position would probably be a good fit for me. I'll be teaching 8th grade geography (which I've done before) for just a few hours each morning. I'm really excited, because I think it will be a nice balance of work and home. Now I just have to find someone I trust to watch her while I'm at work.
