That's right, Little A is going to be a big sister! We're expecting Baby #2 in late November. Little A, E and I are all very excited about the coming addition to our little family.
We found out about Baby #2 just after Little A's birthday, and just after that a new baby started at day care. She wasn't so fond of Baby N at first, but she seems to like him a lot now. And today we got a baby announcement from friends, and Little A loved it. She even gave the picture of the baby a kiss. So we're hopeful that Little A will be happy to have a new baby in the house this winter.
I'm 12 weeks today. So far I haven't been feeling well, but I'm hoping that I start feeling better soon! I've been especially thankful to only be working part time right now because I've been able to nap during Little A's afternoon naps. My house is a bit of a mess as a result (and I have been neglecting this blog), but the naps seem to help me feel a little better. I told work about Baby #2 this week, because I feel like I'm going to start showing a lot earlier this time around. I gained a few pounds when I stopped nursing Little A, which didn't help.
Anyway, so excited to share the news!
Congratulations! Wow, that will make the babies 17 mo. apart, right? My oldest boys are 15 mo. apart. It is/was tough but very worth it. Congratulations again and I hope you are well!

ReplyDeleteThey will actually be a little further apart... 20 months. I'm glad they'll be close in age, but I know I'm going to have my hands full!
